Merry CHRISTmas and New Year's Wishes!
The Notes and Answer Keys for NT Greek 1 have been posted in this weblog. I have also saved the PDF documents in a separate dropbox. Please note that to simplify your access and review of these documents I will replace the images (below) with URLs to link to the PDF documents. I will do this in the new year.
Here is the link to the Answers for our final exam.
Blessings to you all. See you in January!

Neuter Nouns Sample
From Lois:
Hello All
I think it would be very helpful if you learned vocab in categories, maybe with the inflection attached if there is any for that particular group of words. I have attached a sample, showing ALL the neuter vocab nouns learned in Lessons 1-14.

Why and when to change the alpha or epsilon to eta?
Futher to the question last Thursday (11 Nov) re: why we change the a or e to h,
Please refer to page 45 of FNTG textbook, grey box at the bottom, provides the insight.
Specifically, contract verbs (that have Aorist stems which end in a, e or o) have their connecting vowel lengthens from a or e to h, and from o to w, before the tense formative s of the ending.
Also, refer to page 88, section 8.6. The rules for contraction in the Present and Imperfect tense-forms (which use Present stems) are a little different.
